Due to its geographical location, Jaipur experiences an extreme climate. Summer, monsoon and winter are primarily the three important seasons. Summers are characterized by extreme heat and usually arrive in mid-March and lasts through June with the maximum temperature hovering around 45 degree C. Monsoons usually set in July but the city mostly receives scanty rainfall. The post-monsoon period that is September again goes through extreme rise in temperature.
Winters are pleasant marked by bright sunny days and extremely low temperature during the night. The winter season begins from the month of October and stretches over the month of March.
The best time to visit the Pink City is during the winter season when the soothing weather makes travelling a pleasant experience.
